The Story Behind the Hager Hill FWB Church
The current Hager Hill Youth Group began in 1997 under the leadership of Amy Williams, Amy Browning, Marcus Conley, and Tim Case. The group began with about 18 members. We quickly grew in size. Currently the Group consists of nearly 35 members. We have had the opportunity to be involved in many activities from Car Washes, Spaghetti dinners, cook outs, parties, making a tape, trips to Kings Island to visiting the nursing home, singing in revivals, performing skits, and most importantly helping lead others to christ.
The group is now experiencing a transition in that many of the initial members are beginning to take leadership roles. Many of the initial youth group members have married or moved to college. But, we are thankful for the new members who have become involved.
We hope our youth group continues to grow in number and strength. Another change taking place is in leadership. One member of the youth group, Josh Pruitt, is currently stepping out as a leader. He has been the President of the Youth group for two years, but now his role is increasing as he feels a burden for the younger members. Also, adding to the group of youth leaders we would wish to include Randy and Tammy Haney, who will be taking over the acitivities of the youth group. Amy and Amy will still be leading the youth choir along with their Husbands Tim and Marcus, but due to a limited amount of time, they have asked for help. We all want the best for the children in our community.
